This KL1284 analog input terminal features four independently controlled outputs allowing for versatile connections with either 2- or 3-wire configurations which is suited for various load types such as ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads. With a nominal operating voltage of 24 V DC, it ensures stable performance within a tolerance range of -15% to +20%. Each channel can handle a maximum current of 0.5 A and it includes short-circuit protection with a limited current of less than 7 A to ensure safe operation. It also provides reverse voltage protection by further preventing damage from incorrect wiring. Its electrical isolation which is rated at 500 V between the K-bus and field potential safeguards connected devices from power fluctuations. It also shows international vibration and shock standards by operating effectively within a temperature range of 0 to +55°C and with storage tolerances from -25 to +85°C.

The KL1284 analog input module comes with a compact design at just 12 mm wide and fits neatly onto a 35 mm DIN rail by following EN 60715 standards.
