The Beckhoff FC9024, part of the FC Lightbus Cards series, supports all Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) based protocols and interfaces through PCI Express® x1. It offers four RJ45 Ethernet channels with data transfer rates of 100/1000 Mbit/s. Operating within 0 to 55°C, it provides hardware diagnostics with 2 LEDs per channel for activity and link.

The FC9024 Lightbus card from Beckhoff is specialized for industrial automation applications. The RJ45 Ethernet ports mounted on this card ensure reliable network connections through three connections. All Ethernet channels on this device enable independent speed settings to support flexible network configurations.
The FC9024 Lightbus card supports fully duplex communication at 10, 100, or 1000 Mbit per second. Each channel of the card has its unique baud rate and bit rate settings. The Ethernet interface operates with precise data transmission reliability according to 10/100/1000Base-T specifications. This device functions with standard interface drivers that work with both the Intel framework and the company’s architecture system. The card uses 800 mA of current power. The FC9024 Lightbus card implements hardware diagnostic tools for channel monitoring purposes. Operation status and link health of the device are shown through two LEDs placed on each channel. Network status problems become easier to identify through LEDs on the device. System troubleshooting and checks become expedited through the built-in hardware diagnostics capability. The card enables the connection of communication cables extending up to 100 meters when linked directly to a hub or device. Stable operation of the device occurs between 0 to 55 degrees Celsius of ambient temperature.
The FC9024 Lightbus card obtains CE approval, which fulfills industrial safety standards according to requirements. The card displays resistance against electromagnetic interference that protects against sudden burst events and electrostatic discharges. This EMC resistance meets the requirements of EN 61000-6-2 as well as EN 61000-6-4 standards. This card is manufactured with similar dimensions of 98 mm by 98 mm.
