Product Description:

The Beckhoff FC5202-0000 is a dual channel DeviceNet Lightbus card taken as part of the FC Lightbus Card Series that communicates through PCI interface. DeviceNet fieldbus is incorporated making it possible to connect personal computers on DeviceNet migration networks, with the ability of a master or slave configuration. The card supports serial bit rates of 125, 250, and 500 kb/s plus a galvanically isolated open style 5 pin (as per DeviceNet requirements) connector for dependable communication purposes which is provided with the card.

For such activities, commercial communication networks care made available on differential signaling methods that over the existing hardware and other peripherals that are meant for external application use. The FC5202-0000 assumes real time monitoring of communication status because of LEDs per channel that were incorporated into the card for hardware diagnosis and fault detection. Each of the channels handles up to 3 kbytes each of the input as well as output data in the atomic process, this is efficient for excessive data movement.

The Unit is designed to work with TwinCAT I/O software that enables interconnection and assimilation in the Beckhoff Automation systems.
