Product Description:
The ES3104 is an EtherCAT terminal designed by Beckhoff Automation to improve the connection of various field devices, including sensors and actuators and enable effective EtherCAT communication. This terminal features a four-channel analogue input with a signal voltage of between -10 to +10 volts. There are LEDs present in this terminal to help operators determine the connection status in the unit. The design of this terminal ensures that the signal voltage associated with it is digitized to a resolution of about 16 bits; the voltage is also electrically isolated before it is transmitted to a high-level automation device. The ES3104 operates with distributed clocks, which function at a precision that is less than 1 microsecond. There is an input filter integrated into this product; this filter has a limit frequency that is determined to be greater than 200 kilohertz.
