The ES3102 is a 2-channel analog input terminal manufactured by Beckhoff for precise voltage signal acquisition in industrial automation systems. It is suitable for integrating analog sensors and devices into CAT-based networks to facilitate real-time data processing and system synchronization.
The ES3102 ES terminal box allows differential input signals with 16-bit resolution and identify signals between -10 V and +10 V. It provides dependable performance because its measurement error stays within ±0.3% of the full-scale value. The ES31 ES terminal supports distributed clock operations with microsecond level precision. Its standard operation mode enables the device to convert data points within 60 μs and its fast mode operation completes data processing within 40 μs which gives users versatile data processing capabilities. The functionality of the device increases with selectable measuring data display choices, standard compact process image options, activatable FIR/IIR filters and built-in limit value monitoring capabilities. The ES31 ES terminal box has an integrated input filter which restricts signals to 5 kHz and ensures signal safety through a 500 volts E-bus to signal voltage separation as well as an internal resistance superior to 200000 ohms.
The ES3102 ES terminal box fulfills EMC standards EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4 which allows it to work between -13°F to +140°F of operating temperature and -40°F to +185°F of storage temperature range. It maintains operation under 95% RH conditions and complies with vibration and shock resistance specifications outlined in EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27.
