Product Description:

The ES3064 is an EtherCAT terminal built by Beckhoff automation to process input signals that fall between the range of 0 to 10 volts. This terminal has a housing made from polycarbonate. It is relatively small and can be comfortably installed in areas with limited installation spaces. The input voltage processed by this terminal is done at a resolution that is determined to be about 12 bits; after this process, it is transmitted to a higher-level automation device in the servo system. The ES3064 EtherCAT terminal is equipped with about four analogue inputs; each of these inputs is single-ended and operates with a single wire conductor, which is provided with a common ground potential. The unit is designed to function at a top performance level over a long period. There are LEDs installed into the unit to provide operators with signal state information in real-time.

The ES3064 EtherCAT terminal receives its power supply through the E-bus, its internal resistance is estimated to be greater than 130 kilohertz, and the input filter limit frequency is also about 1 kilohertz. The time for this unit to digitalize the input signal it receives is about 0.625 milliseconds; however, the configuration of this process by operators is allowed. During operation, the ES3064 is able to maintain a maximum dielectric strength of 30 volts; it also consumes about 130 milliamperes of current.

The ES3064 is able to withstand and function in extreme ambient temperatures. The minimum permissible ambient temperature for the operation of this unit is about -20 degrees Celsius; during storage, this value can be as low as -40 degrees. For customers that require the operation of multiple units of this product, side-by-side mounting is possible through the use of the double slot and key connection.
