Product Description:

Beckhoff designed the 2-channel analog input terminal for signal acquisition in industrial automation. Beckhoff is recognized for its modular I/O solutions that offer reliable connectivity and integration with EtherCAT-based systems.

The ES3062 analog input terminal supports an input voltage range from 0 to 10 V that is digitized with a 12-bit resolution and represented in 16-bit data, including sign. The conversion time is 0.625 ms by default and can be configured as needed, operating in multiplex mode for efficient signal processing. The input filter limit frequency is 1 kHz that enables accurate signal acquisition with reduced noise. The analog input terminal offers an internal resistance of 130 kΩ that minimizes signal loading. Measuring error is less than ±0.3% relative to the full-scale value which ensures high accuracy. Dielectric strength is specified at a maximum of 30 V that protects the device from voltage surges. The analog terminal provides 500 V electrical isolation between the E-bus and signal voltage that enhances system safety. Power is supplied via the E-bus with a typical current consumption of 130 mA. The process image bit width is 8 bytes that allows efficient data exchange with the controller.

The ES3062 analog input terminal includes pluggable wiring for all ESxxxx terminals and supports side-by-side mounting using a double slot and key connection. Special features include activatable FIR and IIR filters and integrated limit value monitoring that support advanced signal conditioning and diagnostics. The analog terminal is constructed from polycarbonate and has dimensions of 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm. The ES terminal is installed on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with EN 60715 and is suitable for variable installation positions.
