Product Description:

The ES2088 is a digital output terminal designed for control systems that utilize EtherCAT. The terminal's ability to easily connect to other EtherCAT terminals, as well as its plug-in wiring, makes replacement and maintenance easier. It was designed so that the output terminal can work in machine panels and control cabinets.

The ES2088 output terminal has eight digital outputs, and each channel can be connected with just one line. It can handle a difference of -15 percent to +20 percent from the standard output voltage of 24 V DC. Each output channel can handle up to 0.5 A of power and can not short-circuit. The product works with ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads, which makes it more useful for a wider range of control systems. A total of 3 A can flow through all eight lines together. The normal short-circuit current stays below 7 A, which keeps the system from getting too hot. Up to 100 mJ of breaking energy can not damage the output channels. The terminal protects against reverse power, which keeps the system safe. Most of the time, the E-bus uses 110 mA of current to run terminal logic. The power contacts send an extra 30 mA of current + load. In TwinCAT, the output port is set up automatically, so you do not have to set the address by hand. There are 8 output bits in the process picture.

The ES2088 digital output terminal can work in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 55°C and maintain a stable output. The terminal weighs about 70 grams altogether, which makes it easier to place without putting too much stress on the structure. The output terminal is compatible with DIN rail systems, and there are established protocols for signal control in industrial automation.
