Beckhoff ES1098 is a Digital input terminal that utilizes EtherCAT to acquire binary control data and transmit it to higher-level automation devices in factory automation. Beckhoff, a company known for its automation technology, can quickly pick up signals and work reliably with EtherCAT systems.

The ES1098 digital input terminal has eight digital input channels, and each one has a green LED for checking the signal state. The digital input terminal operates within a nominal voltage range of −15% to +20% and operates at 24 V DC.
