The EP8309-1022 is a reliable digital input module designed by Beckhoff for automation applications. It belongs to the EP Digital Input Modules series. The modules are built to operate within a temperature range of -25…+60°C.
The EP8309-1022 input module features a bus interface with 2 x M8 socket 4-pin a-coded shielded connectors. It is equipped with 8 digital inputs or outputs make sure adaptable integration in multiple control applications. The input module supports a limit frequency of 2.5 kHz which allows rapid input signal processing. Its connection method uses an M12 screw type connector that provides secure and durable attachment points. The input module has two analog inputs that are supported by a single-ended 12-bit resolution measurement. It includes one analog output also configured as single-ended with a 12-bit resolution for consistent performance. The EP8309-1022 input module operate with a nominal voltage of 24 V DC and input current for each channel is approximately 3 mA which ensures minimal power consumption per operation.
