The EP6001-0002 is a compact machine-mounted I/O interface from Beckhoff that connects field devices to a controller over an EtherCAT network. Beckhoff places the electronics in a sealed polyamide housing so the unit can be mounted directly on the machine, which helps reduce control-cabinet wiring and shortens cable runs.
