The EP2918-0032 TwinSAFE EtherCAT box engineered by Beckhoff has eight failsafe outputs. This EtherCAT box can accommodate up to 128 safe connections. The product has high ruggedness. This device's outputs are used for actuators with up to 24 VDC and 2 A. The unit has an IP 67 degree of protection. It uses M12 screw connectors for its signal connection. This EtherCAT box uses a TwinSAFE logic-capable component through FSoE to control its outputs.

The product's safety parameters adapt their functionality according to the respective safety requirements. This device is characterized by a simple replacement process for its parts. It adjusts its safety parameters when restarting safety applications and is compatible with the EL6910 TwinSAFE logic for added functionality. This EtherCAT box has a fine granular configuration of the test pulses of its channels. The product's standard outputs can be activated with a safe output signal and an integrated ANDing.
