The EP1816-1008 is an EtherCAT box from Beckhoff Automation. This module box contains up to 16 digital inputs that acquire binary control signals from the process level and transmit them to the controller in an electrically isolated form. The state of the signals being transmitted is indicated by Light Emitting Diodes present on the product.
