The EP1122-0001 digital input module is used to simplify wiring and layout in EtherCAT networks. Beckhoff produced this product and its technology is renowned for being adaptable enough to accommodate and manage various procedures with ease.

The EP1122-0001 digital input module is used within communication systems and includes two M8 sockets each with 4-pin, a-coded connectors and is built to support the coupling of junctions. It has two ports by making it suitable for daisy-chaining or branching within a network. It does not provide a sensor power supply or include distributed clocks. Its outer housing is made from PA6 polyamide material which offers a balance of strength and resistance to environmental factors. The module weighs around 165 grams and can be securely mounted using the two fixing holes each 3.5 mm in diameter which is suited for M3 screws. The module operates with a nominal voltage of 24 V DC with a tolerance range of -15% to +20%. It does not require any special configuration before use which helps simplify the installation process.
