Product Description:

The ELM3704-1001 is an Industrial EtherCAT terminal developed by Beckhoff Automation to provide industrial operators with a reliable way to carry out high-quality measurements of common electrical signals in the industrial environment. This terminal is built on the already existing EtherCAT technology, which was also developed by Beckhoff Technology, it is well suited for use as a measurement in industrial laboratory testing facilities. The sampling rate of this product is about 10 kilo-samples per month; this is designed for fast thermocouple measurements where terminals with 1 kilo-samples per channel are not sufficient. The operation of this product makes it possible to implement complex integrated data acquisition systems that require high data acquisition systems that place high demands on measurement accuracy and time synchronization.

This product is equipped with multi-functional technology and contains 4 different channels that can be configured independently. The over-sampling factor of this device is between 1 to about 100, while its internal resistance is higher than 4 mega-ohms. As soon as the ELM3704-1001 EtherCAT terminal is installed, it will detect any broken wire or short circuit and communicate through its feedback cable. There are distributed clocks in this product; each one operates at an accuracy that is less than 1 microseconds. The operation resolution of this product is about 24 bits.

Upon delivery, the ELM3704-1001 can be easily mounted on 35 millimeter DIN rail that meets the specifications of EN 60715. It is also possible to install multiple samples of this device by using a double slot and key connection. There is no air blower with the terminal; heat generated is comfortably controlled by surface cooling. The product also has an approximate weight of 350 grams.
