The ELM3602-0000 is an analog input module manufactured by Beckhoff for the ELM EtherCAT Terminals series. The unit attaches directly to the system’s E-bus and converts analog voltages into digital process data for servo positioning, vibration analysis, and other high-speed automation tasks. The module uses a 24-bit converter architecture that pushes quantization noise below the application threshold for most dynamic tests. Each channel feeds the converter at an internal throughput of 8 Msps, and the resulting bitstream is filtered by a sinc3 averager whose digital low-pass knee is 13.6 kHz. For events above that bandwidth, a discrete analog filter limits the input spectrum to 30 kHz, preventing aliasing components before sampling.
