Product Description:
The ELM3504-0000 is an EtherCAT Terminal designed by Beckhoff Automation to provide industrial applications with a reliable interface that enables the efficient implementation of a complex system-integrated data acquisition system. It also ensures high measurement accuracy and time synchronization. The ELM3504-0000 terminal is equipped with internally switchable supplementary resistors and an integrated feed. There are about four connection channels on this product. The product's connection type is a push-in, service plug, and 6-pin connector. It operates with a differential signal type and uses 2-/3-/4-/5-/6-wires as its connection technology. Each channel on this product can simultaneously reach a maximum sampling rate of about 100 microseconds per kilo sample per second. The internal resistance of this product during operation is greater than 4 mega-ohms per second.
The housing of the ELM3504-0000 terminal is made from zinc die cast. This housing material is used because of its ability to dissipate excess heat from the terminal through natural convection quickly. The terminal has a width of 30 millimeters, a length of 100 millimeters, and a depth of about 95 millimeters. The installation of the product should be done on a 30-millimeter DIN rail that conforms to EN 60715 standards. Multiple ELM3504-0000 terminals can be mounted side-by-side through the use of a double slot and key connection.
The current consumption E bus of this product is about 720 milliamperes; also, the terminal has an approximate weight of about 350 grams. There are distributed clocks that maintain an impressive accuracy of less than 1 microsecond. The ELM3504-0000 EtherCAT Terminal features a free numeric filter, True RMS, non-linear scaling, peak hold, and an extended range of up to 107 per cent.
