The EL1124 EtherCAT Terminal is a 4 channel digital input module designed for 5 V signal acquisition. It reads binary control signals and transfers them in an electrically isolated form to a higher level controller. The terminal uses light emitting diodes to indicate signal status. It supports reliable signal processing with fast response.

The Beckhoff EL1124 EtherCAT Terminal features optional integrated sensor power supply connections (+5 V and 0 V) and ensures quick signal detection and minimal latency. This terminal accepts 5 V DC nominal input voltage across its four channels. It uses fast CMOS input technology and supports input signal voltages below 0.8 V for logic “0” and above 2.4 V for logic “1.” Input current is typically 50 µA per channel. The module has an input filter time of approximately 0.05 µs that enables rapid signal detection with minimal delay. It supports both 2 wire and 3 wire connection technologies for flexible installation. The model does not require address configuration that makes it plug and play within the EtherCAT network.
