The EK9300-1007 is an EtherCAT-to-fieldbus coupler manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the EK EtherCAT Couplers series. It sits between a local EtherCAT terminal string and an external controller network, allowing distributed digital and analog I/O to enter higher-level automation architectures without a standalone PLC. By mapping process images into PROFINET telegrams, the unit serves assembly machines, conveyor zones, and drive panels that must exchange deterministic data across different control platforms.

A switched dual-port RJ45 connection accepts line or ring wiring while sustaining a data flow of 100 Mbit/s.
