The EK9160 Coupler is an extremely robust communication interface to bridge Beckhoff Bus Terminals and Ethernet-based IoT networks. It supports modern fieldbus protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, AMQP, HTTPS, and REST with wide-ranging interoperability support for cloud and edge data applications. The coupler is plugged into the local I/O system through the K-bus and is simple to integrate into normal Beckhoff terminals.

It offers safe dealing with data for analog and digital signals. Two RJ45 ports and on-board switch equipped, the EK9160 is capable of daisy chaining and offers convenient Ethernet cabling for multi-point applications.
