Product Description:

The EK1121-0010 is a single-port Ether cat junction designed by Beckhoff Automation to serve as a terminal segment in any position in the Ether CAT communication network. This terminal is built by highly trained personnel, it has a compact polycarbonate housing with impressively high electric and heat insulation properties. The use of this Ether CAT junction also makes it possible for operators to design Ether CAT star topology for fast communication. The connection socket on the EK1121-0010 is a RJ45 socket that supports the connection of Ethernet cables with the appropriate connector. During operation, a maximum distance of 300 meters can be maintained between the two Extended distance devices. If operators choose to configure only one connection for Extended distance, then the maximum distance possible between two stations reduces to 100 meters.

The EK1121-0010 Ether CAT junction supports hot connect, which allows for the connection and disconnection of the Ether CAT segment during active operation. The data transfer rate for this unit is estimated to be about 100 megabits per second. It also consumes about 160 milliamperes of current when it is not in operation. The delay of this unit is approximately 1 microsecond, its total weight is also about 65 grams. A recommended temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees is expected to be maintained around this product during its operation, storage temperature should also be between -25 to about 85 degrees Celsius.

The EK1121-0010 features CE and UL approvals and markings, it is also classified as an IP20 product that should be installed indoors away from industrial interference like dust and water splashes.
