The EK1101-0000 is an EtherCAT coupler produced by Beckhoff within the EK EtherCAT Couplers series. By acting as the head station between the EtherCAT fieldbus and a set of Beckhoff E-bus terminals, the unit enables decentralized I/O segments to communicate with a host controller in real time.
