EJ4018 is an EtherCAT plug-in module. It is designed by Beckhoff for industrial applications that require connection on analog outputs to EtherCAT process networks. The module had 8 output channels in one compact housing and each channel can generate signals in the range from 0 to 20 milliamps. The output of each channel is isolated and supplied to the industrial process at 12-bit resolution. Connection technology used by the module is single-ended 1-wire. The EJ4018 module gets 24 Volts DC supply from the signal distribution board. The module can provide distributed clocks. The load should be less than 150 Ohms. The output error is always within ±0.1%. Each output channel is isolated and the isolation between the field potential and the E-bus is 500 Volts. Conversion time for the module is approximately 400 microseconds.
