Product Description:

The EJ2008 is a versatile Beckhoff EtherCAT plug-in that offers seamless integration of automation devices with various actuators. It features 8 outputs that provide convenient and efficient control of multiple actuators simultaneously. Each output can accommodate different load types, ensuring versatility in application. The unit can handle various types of loads ranging from lamp to inductive and ohmic loads. This versatility enables the use of the module in a wide range of applications. Each of the channels for input has a maximum output current of 0.5 A, designed to be short-circuit proof. This enhances the module's reliability and safety by preventing damage to the system in the event of faulty voltage conditions.

The EJ2008 has a typical short-circuit current of less than 2 A, which ensures enhanced safety and protection for both the module and the connected loads. It also comes with built-in reverse voltage protection that enhances the safety of the system even in conditions with incorrect power supply connections. This unit consumes 90 mA from the E-bus, enabling the system to operate with minimal energy demands for operational efficiency. The module’s robust build is designed to ensure that the unit is not damaged by vibrations or mechanical stress. It meets EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards, allowing use in difficult conditions.

This module features a 12-16 pin housing designed as an EtherCAT I/O plug-in module, ensuring seamless integration into automation systems. It is made out of durable polycarbonate, offering excellent protection against environmental factors in line with IP 20 protection demands. Its 12 mm x 66 mm x 55 mm build offers minimal installation depth requirements and is well suited for mounting on signal distribution boards.
