The EJ1918 is a safety I/O plug-in in the Beckhoff EJ EtherCAT Plug-ins series. Manufactured by Beckhoff, this compact module brings configurable clock outputs and fail-safe input channels to a carrier board, allowing safety functions to be integrated directly into distributed control panels. The plug-in connects through the EtherCAT backplane and monitors compatible field devices while distributing synchronized test pulses to peripheral equipment.
