The Beckhoff Embedded PC CX Series, model CX2040-0112 has a processor that is an Intel® Core™ i7 2715QE with a clock frequency of 2.1 GHz and has four cores. The flash memory of this model can be configured to either 20 GB or 40 GB CFast flashcards and can be configured to increase further depending on the chosen operating system.
The memory is 4 GB DDR3 RAM which is non-upgradable fixed, which is sufficient for many industrial scenarios. Networking options are well equipped with two 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet via RJ45, one DVI-I for video out, and four USB 2.0 for other peripherals.
