The module acts as an interface node that consolidates video, USB, and CP-Link 4 data so an industrial PC can drive a remote control panel over a single structured cable. By combining these signal paths, the unit streamlines cabinet wiring and allows human-machine interfaces to be installed at significant distances from the controller without separate extenders. This arrangement keeps display output and user input traveling together, which simplifies routing between the computer cabinet and the operator station.
Cabinet integration starts with its compact enclosure of 70 x 100 x 80 mm, allowing the junction to sit alongside standard DIN-rail components. The electronics are powered from a regulated 24 V DC source, matching the low-voltage supply already present in most control panels. When paired with a Beckhoff panel, the copper link may extend up to 100 m, supporting factory-floor layouts that separate operators from electrical gear. To maintain bandwidth, the remote run must use Cat.6A cable, and data plus power are presented to the panel through the CP-Link 4 RJ45 socket.
