The CPPC7131-0000 is an industrial panel PC developed by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a compact, integrated control station, the unit combines an operator display, an embedded computer, and field communication interfaces so it can run machine-level control tasks while also serving as a local HMI. This arrangement allows the panel PC to be mounted directly on equipment instead of requiring a separate computer enclosure. The integrated format also helps simplify wiring in distributed automation layouts where control and visualization need to stay close to the machine.
The operator interface uses a 12 in TFT screen mounted in a front bezel measuring 406 × 370.2 × 29.5 mm, providing a clear display area without requiring an oversized panel cutout. A sealed membrane with an alphanumeric keyboard allows direct data entry when touch operation is not practical. The entire front has an IP65 rating, which helps protect the electronics from dust and low-pressure water jets commonly found on packaging or filling lines. Networking is handled through two 10/100 Base-T channels that exit through 2 × RJ45 connectors, allowing straightforward links to controllers and supervisory systems.
