Product Description:
The CP7932-1211-0000 is a front-mounted Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines a touchscreen monitor, industrial keyboard, and sealed housing so the operator can issue commands directly on the machine floor without an external computer. In automated plants, this unit serves as the human-machine interface by providing real-time visualization of PLC data and immediate access to alarm acknowledgments and recipe changes.
The unit is equipped with a 15-inch display that provides adequate graphical area for SCADA objects while remaining compact enough for crowded control cabinets. Its native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels delivers a square pixel grid that keeps process trends and diagnostic text legible at arm’s length. The screen uses TFT technology, which supplies consistent brightness and color across typical viewing positions when panels are mounted above or below eye level. An enclosure rating of IP65 means all front-side gaps, including the integrated alphanumeric keyboard and ten dedicated PLC keys, resist dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, permitting washdown use near conveyors or mixers.
Communication with the host computer can span up to 50 m, allowing controllers to be housed in a safer, climate-controlled cabinet while the panel remains on the production line. Mechanical depth is limited to 28.5 mm, so the assembly fits shallow operator consoles without protruding into wiring space. Internal electronics run from a logical supply of 24 VDC, enabling direct connection to standard machine power buses. Video is routed through a 19-pole M16 DVI connector, and control power arrives through a rugged 4-pole M12 plug; both circular interfaces tolerate vibration better than desktop connectors. The anodized aluminum housing, 483 mm width, and 410.2 mm height form a stable front plate, while an 8-pole M9 receptacle is reserved for USB-E service access.
