Product Description:
The CP7931-1103-C2 is a fanless panel PC produced by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It functions as a decentralized operator terminal that brings PC-based control and visualization directly to machinery and production cells. The unit integrates an industrial computer, display, and sealed connector set into a single aluminum housing so that operators can issue commands and monitor process variables without routing sensitive hardware back to a control cabinet. A separate computing unit can be mounted up to the specified cable length away, reducing the thermal load on the front panel.
The front face is equipped with a 12-inch diagonal display that uses TFT graphics to present machine data with wide viewing angles. During operation, the enclosure maintains an overall protection class of IP65, while each screwed circular connector carries an individual rating of IP67 once the mating cables are secured. All electronics receive power through a four-pole M12 power plug at 24 VDC. A 19-pole M16 DVI connector transfers video signals to or from a separate computing module, and an eight-pole M9 receptacle provides USB connectivity for service tools or barcode scanners. The aluminum housing resists corrosion in humid environments, and operation remains stable at up to 95% noncondensing humidity.
The panel tolerates ambient temperatures up to 55 °C during continuous use and can be stored at temperatures as low as -20 °C without damage. Long-term storage is permissible at temperatures up to 65 °C when the system is powered down. Signal integrity over the remote DVI and USB cables is maintained for lengths up to 50 m, allowing the display head to be mounted on moving axes while the PC remains in a protected cabinet. The panel withstands shocks of up to 5 G for pulses lasting 30 ms, supporting reliable operation on presses or packaging machines.
