Product Description:
The CP7921-1075-0000 is a remote-mounted operator interface from Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended as a 12-inch panel PC for machine-level control and visualization, it provides the human-machine link that shows process data and accepts commands on the production floor. Paired with an industrial PC in a cabinet, the unit gives operators access to graphical screens, numeric entry fields, and status indicators required for distributed automation cells.
The front bezel carries a 12 in TFT display that offers sufficient space for multi-window SCADA views while keeping the enclosure compact. The housing has an IP65 rating, preventing dust ingress and low-pressure water spray from affecting the display surface. All field connectors, including USB, DVI, and power, use circular plugs sealed to IP67, allowing washdown without disconnection. The unit is supplied with 24 VDC (20.4–28.8 VDC), matching common control-cabinet power rails. Typical demand is only 14 W, so heat output is minimal and the panel can be fed from small auxiliary supplies. A numeric keypad is integrated for rapid value entry when touch operation is impractical for gloved personnel.
Communication lines permit a remote distance of 50 m between the panel and its host computer through the DVI-Extended and USB-Extended links, supporting installation directly on machinery while keeping PCs in protected racks. Reliable service is maintained across 0 to 55 °C, making additional enclosure heating unnecessary for most workshops. Mechanical durability is certified for shocks of 5 G for 30 ms and for vibration up to 0.5 G at 58–500 Hz, so the display and keypad remain functional on presses, fillers, and other equipment that subjects components to continuous motion.
