The CP7912-0001-0000 is a panel-mounted PC terminal manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. It integrates an industrial TFT display and a sealed keypad so operators can issue commands and observe process data directly at the machine. Within an automated line, the device functions as a local human-machine interface while the host computer can be installed elsewhere, reducing cabinet heat and vibration exposure for the processing electronics. Its construction is intended for continuous service on packaging, assembly, and material-handling equipment.
Its screen measures 15 in, providing room for multi-window diagnostics without enlarging the footprint. The mechanical outline is 426 mm wide, 395 mm high, and only 28.5 mm deep, so the panel fits shallow doors or swing arms. The aluminum front achieves IP65 ingress protection, and the rear circular connectors reach IP67 when coupled, allowing use in washdown or dusty environments. Video, USB, and Ethernet are carried over the Beckhoff CP-Link interface for distances up to 50 m, which allows the terminal to be mounted at the machine while the connected computer remains in a protected area. Emission performance complies with EN 61000-6-4, and immunity meets EN 61000-6-2, helping the unit operate reliably near electrically noisy equipment. During storage, the unit withstands temperatures from −20 °C to 65 °C, making it suitable for unconditioned warehouse storage when it is powered down.
