The CP7911-1024-0000 is a front-mounted human-machine interface from Beckhoff’s CP Panel PC Systems series. It functions as an industrial operator panel that combines visualization and tactile control, allowing plant personnel to issue commands or acknowledge alarms directly at the machine. The integrated display, sealed pushbuttons, and coded connectors let the panel be installed on swing arms or support brackets without an additional cabinet, making it suited for decentralized automation islands.
The visual section is built around a 12 in diagonal screen that uses a TFT panel to present process graphics at consistent brightness and color. To resist dust and directed water, the front retains a IP65 rating, while the circular connectors on the rear increase ingress protection to IP67. Supply power is delivered through a 4-pin M12 plug at 24 VDC. A 19-pin M16 socket carries DVI-Extended video, and an 8-pin M9 socket carries USB-Extended signals; these long-range formats let the panel be located up to 50 m from the host PC. The operator surface uses function keys arranged in a fixed key layout so that frequently used actions can be triggered without navigating software menus. Additional connectivity is provided by the DVI-Extended link for high-resolution video and by USB-Extended for service tools such as memory sticks or barcode scanners.
Mechanically, the enclosure is only 27.5 mm deep, spans 353.8 mm in width, and stands 326.3 mm high, so it fits on narrow machine columns. The housing is milled from Aluminum, giving it low weight and good heat conduction. M6 threaded inserts on the rear simplify attachment to VESA plates or custom brackets, and the minimal depth leaves space for cable loops behind the unit. With these dimensions and mounting points, the panel can be oriented in portrait or landscape positions while maintaining cable bend radii and gasket compression.
