Product Description:
The CP7904-0001-0000 is a Panel PC display unit produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. This front-end module combines a widescreen monitor and control interface for industrial automation cells where operators supervise processes and issue commands to PLC-controlled machinery. By providing a sealed, cable-extended visualization point, it allows the core computer to remain in a protected cabinet while the panel stands at the machine front. Operators receive immediate visual feedback and touch interaction suited to harsh shop-floor environments.
Its viewing surface is a 24 in diagonal panel built on TFT technology, delivering consistent backlighting and color across the wide housing. The front frame spans 610 mm in width and 450 mm in height, so cabinet cutouts can be sized precisely for flush mounting. Internal electronics operate from a regulated 24 VDC supply that is fed through the rear power inlet. System expansion relies on the factory-wired DVI/USB extension, while an 8-pole M9 receptacle carries USB-E signals for local peripherals. The aluminum housing dissipates heat without fans, and M6 threaded inserts support secure fastening to swing arms or support plates.
The back of the assembly measures 53 mm from the bezel to the furthest connector, allowing shallow enclosures to close without interference. Four countersunk mounting points facilitate symmetrical load distribution on support arms. A sealed 4-pole M12 plug carries the 24 V line and auxiliary grounds, keeping power wiring separate from data connections. Video reaches the display through a 19-pole M16 DVI jack that connects directly to Beckhoff armored cabling and preserves signal integrity. The shallow housing and separated power and data connections simplify installation at operator stations with limited enclosure space.
