Product Description:
The CP7902-1060-0000 is a panel-mounted industrial computer produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as a human-machine interface, allowing operators to visualize process data, enter commands, and supervise automation sequences directly on the machine front. The design separates the display unit from the embedded PC through a dedicated DVI and USB extension, making it suitable for production areas that need compact operator panels with high ingress protection. This layout lets the display remain at the machine while the embedded PC stays in a protected cabinet location.
Visualization is handled by a 15 in active-matrix TFT display that presents graphics at 1024 × 768 pixels, which is adequate for detailed SCADA layouts and trend windows. The panel electronics are supplied with 24 VDC through a 4-pole M12 power connector, which supports standardized low-voltage distribution inside control cabinets. An IP65-rated aluminum front bezel resists dust and low-pressure water jets when the panel is correctly installed. Field cabling is simplified by the 8-pole M9 receptacle that carries the extended USB link, allowing keyboard, mouse, or barcode reader connections without routing fragile connectors into the cabinet interior.
Mechanical integration uses an M6 mounting thread pattern behind the housing, and sealing is completed against the switchgear door with a panel cutout width of 399.8 mm and a height of 367.4 mm. The panel footprint is 426 mm wide, 395 mm high, and 28.5 mm deep, which supports space-restricted retrofits and leaves more room behind the panel for cable routing. Signal integrity for the video channel is preserved over distances up to 50 m through the 19-pole M16 DVI connector. The accompanying USB line uses dedicated shielding at a connector rated IP67, giving the rear wiring additional protection.
