Product Description:
The CP7902-0021-0000 is a panel-mounted industrial computer front end produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an operator interface, the unit presents process data to operators and forwards touch inputs to a separate industrial PC, forming a visualization node on the factory floor. This arrangement keeps the display at the machine while allowing the processing hardware to remain elsewhere in the control system. Its TFT display supports readable color graphics for local monitoring and control tasks.
The front fascia carries a 15 in TFT screen for clear status visualization at the machine. With a panel depth of 28.5 mm, the device can be integrated into slim control cabinets, while its overall panel width of 426 mm and panel height of 395 mm set the visible footprint once the front gasket is seated. To achieve a flush fit, the required cutout measures 399.8 mm in width and 367.4 mm in height. An aluminum housing and an IP65 ingress rating support washdown use on production lines. Video is routed through a 19-pole M16 connector for DVI signals, and the supply leads lock into a 4-pole M12 power plug to resist vibration.
For systems where the control computer is mounted away from high-vibration zones, the DVI-Extended link supports a separation of up to 50 m between the panel and the host PC without signal loss. This separation helps when the main computer must be placed in a protected cabinet away from shock or heat. The assembly operates from a 24 VDC supply, matching the control voltage commonly available in machinery cabinets, and additional I/O such as service keyboards or data loggers attaches through an 8-pole M9 USB connector. The DVI-Extended interface provides remote video transmission for systems that place the host PC outside the immediate operator area.
