Beckhoff’s CP7902-0001-0000 is a flat-panel operator station from the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a front-end interface, it combines an industrial touchscreen display and control electronics in one sealed unit, allowing machine builders to present visualization software on the factory floor without placing a full computer inside the cabinet. The panel connects to a remote Beckhoff control PC through DVI and USB extension cables, so it functions purely as the human-machine interface while critical computing hardware stays in a protected environment.
The panel is powered from 24 VDC, which simplifies wiring in low-voltage control cabinets and allows the device to draw its logic and backlight power directly from the machine power supply. An IP65 front rating indicates protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, so the screen can be cleaned with standard industrial fluids while mounted on the machine frame. Image clarity is provided by a native 1024 × 768 resolution on a TFT screen, and this XGA format matches many SCADA layouts without scaling. With only 28.5 mm of housing depth, the unit projects minimally through the mounting surface, leaving more space in cramped enclosures. Mechanical durability includes 5 G shock resistance, allowing installation on equipment subject to vibration or rapid axis movements.
