Product Description:
The CP7901-0011-0000 is a panel PC engineered by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for front installation in control cabinets, it provides a 12 in display for machine operation, recipe management, and status monitoring on automated production lines. This format keeps operating screens and alarm views available at the machine without requiring a separate external monitor. Its shallow front profile also helps the panel fit neatly on cabinet doors and swing-arm stations where clearance around guards and handles is limited.
For mechanical integration, the panel requires a mounting cutout of 303.7 mm high by 327.6 mm wide. Once seated, its chassis projects only 27.5 mm into the enclosure, which helps save space behind the door for wiring and nearby components. The aluminum housing and front gasket give the unit an ingress rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure washdown spray do not reach the electronics. The unit operates from a single 24 VDC source through a 4-pole M12 power plug, while an 8-pole M9 USB-E port provides data access and a 19-pole M16 DVI-E connector can support an additional display. Overall panel width and height measure 353.8 mm and 326.3 mm respectively, matching typical spacing on door layouts.
In use on machining centers or packaging equipment, the PC maintains reliable operation under shocks up to 5 G. Internal seals tolerate relative humidity up to 95%, which supports operation in damp processing areas where condensation and airborne moisture can be present. When remotely mounted, the display and control signals can span as much as 50 m between the panel and the host computer, allowing the computer hardware to stay in a climate-controlled rack while the operator terminal remains on the machine. This arrangement can also free space near the operator station and keep heat-generating components out of the immediate work area.
