Product Description:
The CP7900-1400-0010 is a panel PC from Beckhoff that belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a human-machine interface for industrial automation, it combines computing hardware, an integrated display, and a touchscreen. This arrangement allows controllers, drives, and sensors to be supervised directly at the machine. The electronics use a nominal supply of 24 VDC, and the internal power distribution is protected by a plug rated for 16 A.
Signal acquisition for on-screen updates is handled by a DDC input that accepts frequencies up to 50 kHz. An external display can be driven over a DVI link that remains reliable at distances up to 50 m. The front has an IP65 rating, preventing dust and water jets from reaching the panel during washdown or machining operations. A full-speed USB host interface follows the USB 2.0 standard and provides a data rate of 480 Mbit/s. The interface uses an eight-pin USB-E miniature connector that minimizes the required space behind the bezel. Each field cable can be terminated with wire ferrules for conductors up to 0.75 mm². The mounting frame accepts four M6 screws that seat to a depth of 18 mm, enabling rigid attachment to support arms or cabinet systems.
The panel has a shock rating of 5 G for 30 ms, helping protect the solid-state storage and processor card from transient impacts during operation or line stoppages. Its immunity performance complies with EN 61000-6-2, while emitted noise complies with EN 61000-6-4, allowing installation near sensitive analog devices. The power feed enters through a lockable 4-pin M12 connector that resists vibration and uses coded keying to maintain the correct polarity. Touch input is detected across a projected-capacitive surface, allowing operators to interact with displayed controls without dedicated function keys. The sealed front and compact connections support installation where rear clearance and access to panel wiring are limited.
