The CP7833-0001-0011 is a panel PC engineered by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. By integrating a computer, display, and touch screen in one sealed housing, the device serves as a front-end HMI in automated cells, packaging lines, and process workstations. Mounted on an enclosure door or arm, it executes control software, shows process graphics, and accepts operator input without requiring a separate industrial monitor.
The front panel carries a 19 in TFT display that renders graphics at 1280 x 1024 pixels, giving SCADA and diagnostic screens a 5:4 aspect ratio suited to legacy layouts. System electronics draw from a single 24 VDC source supplied through an M12 4-pin connector, simplifying power distribution inside a control cabinet. An aluminum housing and gasketed front achieve an IP65 protection class, so airborne dust or low-pressure water jets do not affect internal boards. Continuous duty is supported up to 55 °C ambient, and heat-tolerant components with passive convection cooling eliminate the need for forced-air cooling. Video output is available on a DVI-D port terminated in an M16 19-pin connector, while an M9 5-pin receptacle brings USB to the panel for service peripherals such as flash drives or barcode readers.
The enclosure is built to resist moisture, vibration, and impact. The enclosure resists condensation up to 95% RH, enabling installation in washdown zones when paired with sealed cable glands. During operation, it withstands sinusoidal vibration of 0.035 mm amplitude or up to 0.5 G across 10–150 Hz without pixel jitter. It also withstands transport shock of 5 G for 30 ms, helping protect the unit during handling and machine transport. An anti-glare touch screen works with a US alphanumeric keyboard layout overlay, and the internal DVI-D link keeps signal integrity over the panel’s short cable run to the motherboard.
