Product Description:
The CP7832-1050-0010 is an industrial Panel PC from Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a front-end operator terminal, it combines touch visualization with data routing so it can mount directly on machining or process equipment and relay information to higher-level controllers. The unit’s sealed front allows installation in washdown or dust-laden areas, while its rear interfaces supply power, USB, and DVI-D video so the computer portion in the control cabinet can be located remotely.
Electrical input is delivered through a 4-pin M12 connector, and the pins carry the nominal 24 VDC feed while the electronics tolerate 20.4 to 28.8 VDC to accommodate supply fluctuations common in plant wiring. Both the panel surface and the circular connectors carry an IP65 ingress rating, preventing dust entry and low-pressure water jets from affecting the electronics. Emissions comply with EN 61000-6-4, limiting conducted and radiated noise so neighboring drives and sensors are not disturbed, while immunity meets EN 61000-6-2 to resist industrial transients. The display and electronics remain functional up to 55 °C, so forced cabinet cooling is not mandatory for most factory floors. Minimum service temperature is 0 °C, and the housing withstands relative humidity up to 95% without condensation.
User I/O is provided by a USB 1.1 port on a 5-pin M9 connector, and data transfer peaks at 12 Mbps, which is adequate for configuration tools and low-speed peripherals. The video signal exits as DVI-D over a 19-pin M16 coupling, so the touchscreen can act as an extended monitor up to several meters from the host computer. Supply protection remains active across the full voltage span, and the panel continues to meet EMC immunity while operating down to the 20.4 VDC lower limit. The standardized interfaces support use in distributed HMI architectures without extra protective enclosures.
