Product Description:
Beckhoff manufactures the CP7832-0002-0010 within its CP Panel PC Systems series. The unit is a panel-mounted industrial computer that serves as a human-machine interface and on-site controller, allowing operators to visualize process data and issue commands directly at the machine or production cell. Its integrated design supports local operation where display, control, and machine access need to be combined in a single housing.
The front panel integrates a TFT display and offers graphics output through a 19-Pin M16 connector that carries the DVI-D video signal. Field power enters through a 4-pole M12 plug and is rated for 24 VDC, so the PC can be supplied from common control-cabinet power buses without an external converter. The enclosure carries an IP65 rating, protecting internal electronics from dust and low-pressure water jets. Continuous operation is permitted up to 55 °C, and the design tolerates ambient air humidity as high as 95%, supporting use in warm or damp production areas. A 5-pole M9 receptacle provides the USB interface; it follows the USB 1.1 standard and sustains data exchange at up to 12 Mbps for service devices such as memory sticks or barcode scanners. Four mounting holes on the rear plate let the panel fasten directly to swing arms or cabinet doors, and the power and USB connectors use matching keyed styles for simpler field wiring.
A chassis milled from aluminum helps dissipate heat and adds mechanical rigidity. The housing withstands shocks up to 5 G without functional interruption, which supports use in equipment exposed to vibration or abrupt machine movement. Electromagnetic compliance includes emission testing to EN 61000-6-4 and immunity verification to EN 61000-6-2, helping the unit operate reliably near drives, contactors, and switching power supplies.
