Beckhoff’s CP7831-0001-0010 is a fanless Panel PC in the CP Panel PC Systems series. The unit combines an industrial display with integrated computing hardware, allowing operators to run PLC logic, visualize process data, and interact with machine controllers from the same front panel. It serves as a human-machine interface and local control node in packaging machines, conveyors, and assembly cells. An anodized aluminum housing and sealed front permit direct installation on production lines where dust, spray, and vibration would damage office-grade computers.
It is powered from a nominal 24 V DC control circuit, and the internal regulator tolerates input excursions down to 20.4 V DC and up to 28.8 V DC without rebooting. Continuous operation is specified between 0 °C and 55 °C, so the electronics remain stable in typical cabinet or arm-mount installations. Incoming power is routed through an M12 4-pin connector that locks against vibration, and the same interface provides functional earth continuity. These limits support continuous operation during standard production shifts.
The front panel carries a IP65 ingress rating, enabling wash-down cleaning while internal boards withstand shocks up to 5 G during transport or nearby hammering processes.
