The CP7822-0001-0010 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a human-machine interface and computation node, it combines an integrated display, processing hardware, and sealed I/O connections so that automation software can be executed directly on the machine floor without a separate cabinet PC. This arrangement reduces the need for a separate industrial computer and helps keep machine wiring more compact.
The front screen employs a TFT display, giving a flat, color-capable surface for process visualization. All terminations share a common sealing concept; both the chassis and the circular connectors meet the IP65 ingress rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach internal electronics. Control power is supplied at 24 VDC (20.4-28.8 VDC), allowing the unit to ride through typical 24-volt bus tolerances in plant environments. Video output to a secondary device is provided through a SG 19POL M16 DVI connector, and four threaded mounting points accommodate rigid attachment to swing arms or wall brackets. Electromagnetic emission is limited to the industrial standard EN 61000-6-4, and the panel withstands continuous vibration at 10–58 Hz with a 0.035 mm amplitude and at 58–500 Hz with 0.5 G acceleration without functional loss.
The cast front and rear sections are made from Aluminum, which improves heat spreading and keeps overall mass low for articulated mounting. Immunity to conducted and radiated disturbances fulfills EN 61000-6-2, so neighboring drives and welders do not disrupt operation. Mechanical events up to 5 G, 30 ms are tolerated without data corruption, and storage is permitted between -20 to +65 °C, supporting spares kept in non-conditioned warehouses. A USB service port with an SG 5POL M9 shell is located beside the video connector, and the four mounting holes align with stainless hardware to maintain the vibration and shock ratings stated above.
