Product Description:
The CP7821-0002-0010 panel PC is built by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It integrates an industrial processor, display, and touch input into one enclosure intended for direct mounting on equipment or automation panels. By hosting TwinCAT runtime or other control software, the device provides real-time machine control and operator visualization, eliminating the need for a separate PLC and HMI while maintaining the durability expected on a factory floor.
This model operates from a single 24 VDC supply fed through a 4-pole M12 power connector, so installation only requires a low-voltage source from the control cabinet. The housing carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and resists low-pressure water jets, which allows washdown cleaning in food or packaging lines. Electromagnetic compatibility meets the emission limit of EN 61000-6-4 and the immunity level of EN 61000-6-2, allowing the PC to share enclosures with drives and inverters without causing or suffering interference. Operation is permitted in ambient humidity up to 95% non-condensing, and continuous service is allowed up to 55 °C, so the unit can be placed in unair-conditioned control stations. A DVI-D video output on a 19-pole M16 connector mirrors the internal display for remote screens, and two USB 1.1 ports support peripheral data rates up to 12 Mbps.
Storage is permitted up to 65 °C and down to −20 °C, which helps protect the electronics during warehouse or transport extremes. During operation, the panel withstands mechanical stress from plant handling, including vibration strokes of 0.035 mm and a shock load of 5 G for 30 ms without functional loss. The standardized connectors also support mounting on robots, conveyor frames, or mobile service carts where a compact integrated control interface is needed.
