The CP7821-0001-0010 control panel from Beckhoff has been manufactured with the purpose of offering reliable and efficient operations for the machine and plant engineering domains. The unit belongs to the CP Panel PC series which is renowned for its versatile members offering a range of features. The unit comes with a groundbolt option at its rear for application of low resistance earthing to safeguard against short-circuits. It has a comparatively delicate front panel which must be cleaned using a soft, damp cloth to avoid unnecessary scratches. Moreover, the unit must be operated as per the recommendations from Beckhoff i.e. the keyboard should be used with fingertips and the touch screen either with finger tips or touch pen, in case gloves are used to operate the screen then care must be exercised that the gloves do not have any embedded metal particles.
The display size of 12-inch, 800 x 600 resolution is supported by the CP7821-0001-0010 unit. It comes with the front laminate variant with 10 PLC function keys with LED and necessary function keys. The unit offers an IP 65 rating as it protects its electronic parts with an aluminum housing. It supports a keyboard connection, with a US layout alphanumeric keyboard, andDVI/ USB interfaces.
