Product Description:
The CP7812-1021-0010 is a fanless panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an operator interface, it combines computing hardware with a 12-inch touchscreen, allowing direct machine supervision and control on the factory floor. Its sealed design enables installation on enclosures or mounting arms where a Windows-based HMI must endure dust, moisture, and frequent washdowns common in industrial automation cells.
The unit employs a TFT display for stable color rendering and wide viewing angles, and it is powered from a single 24 VDC source routed through a lockable 4-pin M12 connector. Both the metal housing and all circular connectors meet the IP65 ingress rating, so internal electronics remain isolated from water jets and particulate intrusion. Video is routed across a DVI-D line terminated on a 19-pin M16 receptacle, simplifying cable runs to remote industrial PCs or KVM extenders. Four threaded mounting holes allow VESA or custom brackets, while a rear ground bolt bonds the chassis to the machine frame for EMC compliance. Emissions are limited to the industrial radiated and conducted levels of EN 61000-6-4, and immunity to bursts, surges, and ESD is verified against EN 61000-6-2. Operation is permitted in ambient humidity up to 95% without condensation, ensuring reliable graphics output in humid processing zones.
An external 5-pin M9 port exposes a single communication channel built to the USB 1.1 standard, and its signaling bandwidth tops out at 12 Mbps, which is adequate for service sticks, barcode scanners, or configuration tools. The milled chassis uses aluminum for low weight and efficient heat dissipation, and integrated ribs stiffen the frame against plant vibration. During transport or accidental impacts, the assembly resists shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, preventing damage to internal boards and the display stack.
