Product Description:
The CP7812-0001 is a fanless panel PC from Beckhoff that belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an all-in-one HMI and controller, it combines an industrial display, processing electronics, and field-ready I/O connections in one unit. This arrangement allows a machine to be visualized and supervised directly on the production floor without requiring a separate computer cabinet.
The front panel incorporates a TFT screen, providing stable color and contrast for operator dialogs. Video is routed through a DVI-D interface that preserves digital signal integrity between the motherboard and external monitors. The video line terminates at a sealed 19-pole M16 connector, providing a protected connection in washdown environments. Peripheral expansion is handled through a 5-pole M9 receptacle that carries the unit’s USB channel. This port follows the USB 1.1 standard and supports data rates up to 12 Mbps for barcode scanners or memory sticks. Four mounting holes are threaded into the aluminum housing so the computer can be secured to swing arms or panel cutouts without extra brackets. The housing tolerates mechanical shocks up to 5 G for 30 ms, while internal gasketing protects the electronics when relative humidity reaches 95 percent.
The electronics operate from a nominal supply of 24 VDC delivered through a four-pole M12 power plug, allowing the PC to share the same low-voltage rail as nearby sensors and drives. Once powered, the system remains functional at ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 55 °C, supporting installation in refrigerated process rooms and heated enclosures. An enclosure classification of IP65 protects the display side against dust ingress and water jets during equipment washdowns. The aluminum rear heat sink conducts waste heat away from the electronics without using fans, which also eliminates moving cooling components from the assembly.
