Product Description:
The CP7809-0001-0000 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended as a combined touchscreen and computing unit, it allows machine operators to issue commands and monitor statuses directly at the production line. By combining visualization and control in one enclosure, it keeps the operator interface close to the machine process. The device exchanges data with the main PLC over industrial networks, which supports use as a local control and monitoring station.
Its front panel carries a TFT screen for process visualization. The unit accepts a 24 VDC supply and routes that input through internal surge filters suited to factory power nets. An enclosure rating of IP65 means exposed surfaces keep dust out and withstand low-pressure water jets, so the computer can be mounted on a swing arm outside the control cabinet. Rated operation is guaranteed from 0 °C up to 55 °C, and image performance remains stable in ambient humidity to 95%. To survive transport and floor vibrations, the assembly is verified for 5 G shock loads. Control voltage reaches the device through a 4-pin M12 power connector that locks against accidental pullout.
Video and peripheral I/O are arranged with dedicated circular connectors so the panel can be cabled quickly in the field. Digital video exits on a 19-Pin M16 interface that carries DVI-D signals to remote monitors without analog conversion. For service tools, the housing offers a 5-pin M9 receptacle that follows the USB 1.1 standard; through it, data exchanges occur at 12 Mbps, which is adequate for keyboards, scanners, or temporary storage devices. The housing uses Aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, which adds rigidity while promoting passive heat dissipation and avoiding ferromagnetic interference. Immunity tests meet EN 61000-6-2, and radiated emissions are limited to EN 61000-6-4, so the panel PC can be used beside sensitive drives and measurement modules without additional filtering.
