Product Description:
The CP7801-1024-0010 is a Panel PC produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. By combining an industrial computer with a front-mounted TFT display, the unit acts as both controller and human-machine interface, allowing sequencing, data logging, and visualization to run locally on the factory floor. This integration reduces cabinet space and cabling in automated cells while supplying the deterministic performance required for real-time motion and process control.
The control panel face and all plug connections carry an IP65 ingress rating, isolating the electronics from dust and splashing liquids encountered on machining lines. A solid Aluminum housing adds mechanical strength and helps dissipate heat generated by the CPU and backlight. The enclosure tolerates high-frequency vibration levels up to 0.5 G and low-frequency displacement of 0.035 mm, so it can be mounted on moving frameworks without display flicker or data errors. In addition, the unit survives shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, protecting the storage media and circuit boards during transport or emergency stops. The integrated 15-inch TFT panel offers stable contrast for diagnostics in brightly lit production areas.
Electrical and signal terminations are arranged on the rear plate. The system draws a single 24 VDC supply through a power connector identified as BINDER 763 M12×1, wired to the widely adopted 4-pole M12 format. Digital video is passed via a DVI-I line that mates with the BINDER 723 M16×0.75 plug, specified as a 19-pole M16 interface that locks with a metal thread to resist vibration. Peripheral devices such as service keys or scanners connect through circular USB sockets that follow the 5-pole M9 coding, maintaining the same sealing class as the power and video ports. Four drilled mounting holes in the rear casting let installers secure the panel directly to swing arms or enclosure doors without adapter plates.
